Q: ARE YOU ALWAYS SHOOTING? OR IS IT ONLY FOR SPECIAL EVENTS?
Answer: Rob Norbutt is a full time photographer based out of Salt Lake City Utah. Owner of a private studio centrally located in Salt Lake. You can also shoot on Location with us. ‘Us’ means Rob and Selena. Selena Kontuly is Rob’s spousee she helps answer phones, run sessions, source locations answer emails and texts. If you call us and a woman’s voice answers that’s her!
We have noticed that people are confused about ‘WHEN’ they can shoot with Rob. Sessions can be scheduled through out the year and all over the world. How you start the process?? It’s EASY! Just fill out the get started form.
Q: SO WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH SPECIAL EVENTS?
Answer: Special Events are unique shoot options that have a limited time and availability. Think of it as a ‘SALE’ it doesn’t last forever and it is time sensitive. Events may be scheduled around travel or shows like Olympia, Salt City Showdown, Fitcon Water Sessions. Events are offers with special pricing.
Rob also posts about these on social media. If you follow Rob on Instagram @infinityphotorob you will see news about the events now and then.
The big take away is this- if you have interest in an event offer- it is KEY that you submit your deposit that signals your interest and reserves your spot. We’re good, but haven’t figured out how to read minds yet.
Q: PRICING? HOW MUCH?
Answer: We have session options for any budget. You tell us if you want to shoot in the studio or on location. You tell us about where you are located and the time frame for your session. Then We send you our pricing details. It’s that easy!
Q: IS IT ONLY FITNESS THAT YOU SHOOT?
Answer: No, we also shoot lifestyle, head-shots, product and commercial photography.
Q: IS IT ONLY WOMEN? I DON’T SEE A LOT OF DUDES ON ROB’S SOCIAL MEDIA.
Answer: No, Rob has done countless sessions with male fitness competitors.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS AT SHOOT?
Answer: Whoa, Whoa let’s back up just a bit. We will set a time and date for your session. We confirm with you the location, details, answer any specific questions and prepare you for the time we spend together. This part of the process is related to the details of your session.
When you arrive to shoot we will coach and guide you, feedback on posing will be provided you. It is collaborative, it should be FUN! We want to celebrate the moment.
If you are shooting at the studio we have weights, backgrounds, set options that will allow us to achieve many different looks. Depending on the amount of time you have booked for your session and the examples we have discussed you will move through ‘sets’ to achieve the looks.
It will not seem easy, you have to hold poses and perhaps weights. Bring any supplies you need like food, water, treats we have some resources for you but better safe than sorry- bring your supplies that will make you comfortable.
We have a changing room, restroom and you will be able to take breaks to change clothes and rest if needed.
When the session is complete your images will be processed and depending on the session you selected your Edits will be finished and sent to you.
Q: WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY EDITS?
Answer: When we say EDIT we mean an image that has been adjusted and some retouching has been done to it. Rob’s style is not to completely change the way you look, but there is some adjustments made to enhance your skin, body, touch up the set.
The finished EDITS are sent to you in a password protected online gallery. You can download those files.
We also can help you if you want printing done. We have several print products we offer.
Q: CAN YOU CONTACT US TO DISCUSS UNANSWERED QUESTIONS?
Answer: Yes, be patient with us answering the phone, emails or texts because we may be in a session, however we will connect with you.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M READY TO SHOOT?
The first step is completing the Get Started form which you can see on the home page. If you missed it click BOOK and it will take you back. If you already took that step we will be sending you pricing details.
If you are ready to submit your deposit click the button at the bottom of this page. We accept deposits to secure a session time and the balance is due after the session. The balance is based on the type of session. Deposits are not refundable.
